At ePublishing, we are constantly striving to improve our platform and make it more user-friendly for our clients. That’s why we are excited to announce our newest feature – real-time Slack notifications!

We understand that not all of your team members may be logged into Continuum at all times, but they still need to stay updated on the progress of your publishing. With our new feature, executives and managers can now receive real-time notifications on Slack when articles are scheduled and/or published.

How does it work? It’s simple!

First, determine which Slack channel you want the notifications to be sent to. If you don’t have a designated channel, you can easily create one. Next, your Slack admin will need to enable incoming webhooks to allow Continuum to post messages to your Slack channel. In your Continuum admin tool, update the Continuum system settings for Slack notifications by setting “slack.notifications.enabled” to true and adding your webhook URL to “slack.notifications. URL”.

And that’s it – you’re all set to start receiving real-time notifications on Slack.
